How to Create an ERC-20 Token on Base, Ethereum or BNB Chain
By Oddrix ·
Creating your own token on an EVM chain used to mean writing Solidity and using developer tools. With the Oddrix launch tools it takes a form and one wallet signature. Here is what happens and how to do it properly.
What the Oddrix ERC-20 is
- Fixed supply. The full supply is minted once to your wallet. There is no mint function.
- No owner. There is no admin, pause, blacklist or tax function. Nobody can change the contract after deployment.
- Standard ERC-20. It works with every wallet, DEX and explorer.
Because the contract has no owner powers, the common rug-checker warnings for EVM tokens do not apply to it.
Steps
- Connect an EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Trust) and choose the network: Ethereum, Base or BNB Chain.
- Enter the name, symbol, decimals (18 is standard) and total supply.
- Review the fee: 0.03 ETH on Ethereum, 0.008 ETH on Base or 0.08 BNB on BNB Chain, plus gas. The fee is part of the same deployment transaction.
- Sign. When the transaction confirms, the token address appears with an explorer link.
- Verify the contract on the explorer so buyers can read the code.
Before you add liquidity
- Decide how much of the supply goes into the pool and how much (if any) the team keeps, and say so publicly.
- Create the pool on Uniswap, Aerodrome or PancakeSwap.
- Burn or lock the LP tokens if you want buyers to trust the liquidity will stay.
- Run your own token through the rug checker to see what buyers will see.
Legal note
You are responsible for your token and how it is marketed. In many countries, promoting a token as an investment is regulated. See the token launch disclosure.
FAQ
Can I test before paying the fee?
Yes. The launch tools support Sepolia, Base Sepolia and BSC testnet using free test coins.
Can I change the supply later?
No. The Oddrix ERC-20 has a fixed supply and no owner, so nothing can be changed after deployment.
Not financial advice. Crypto is volatile and you can lose money. Oddrix never holds your funds or keys.
